Bows have been popping up everywhere lately - celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger & Chloë Sevigny have been seen wearing them on the red carpet and Tiffany's even has a line of bow jewelry. I love the playfulness of bows & think it's definitely a trend to try...but proceed with caution. It's easy to go overboard with this style, if you're not careful. You don't want to look like you're trying to recapture your childhood or that you're impersonating Minnie Mouse. But, keep it understated and simple & it will read as classically sophisticated. Love it! Great tip about it being too Minnie Mouse lol. I like things like bows, flowers, ruffles but I do worry about it being to kiddish. :) Just tone it down a little.
