Another week with 2 outfit posts - I think they are doing the challenges this way on purpose...to keep me on my toes! This time for Bloggers Do It Better, it is all about the maxi skirt. I had previously posted about my love for them (here) and I'm really hoping they never go out of style, because they're are so comfortable & feminine. The one I'm wearing is great because the print means I can mix it up with many different colors, plus the pleating detail & flowy fabric is perfect for dressing up or down. I can't wait to pair it with a lightweight knit, cropped leather jacket & booties in the fall!

Soooo pretty! I LOVE long skirts! I actually have a nice collection of them that I haven't been giving much love this summer. :-/ I just might have to pull some out from the bottom of my closet now....

Thanks Mandy! Actually, my husband is nice enough to take them for me. What you can't see in these pictures are my 2 kids running around the park & throwing rocks in the water! :)

I think this might be the best maxi skirt I've seen so far in the BDIB challenge. It's adorable and I'm especially loving how it is pleated and floral and a maxi. Way to get three summer/spring trends into one clothing item. It looks amazing on you! - Katy
