Speckled Copper

I have never done a manicure tutorial here on PPF before - I usually leave that sort of thing to the experts (like The Stylish Housewife).  And for those of you who are familiar with her amazing nail skills, let me say (as a disclaimer) that this will not be nearly as impressive.  But, the good part is that it's simple & easy for anyone to recreate...oh, and it's very sparkly!  Here are the details (please excuse my veiny hands):

I used OPI Cheyenne Pepper and Love & Beauty Penny Polish (Rust).

Step 1: After filing & buffing nails, apply your base coat & let dry.  Then apply 2 coats of the OPI polish.

Step 2: Let dry completely (I know it's hard to be patient, but it's important) and then apply 1 coat of the glitter polish.

Step 3: Let dry for 3-5 minutes & apply your topcoat.

The finished product:

It was hard to capture the sparkle of these on camera, but when the light hits the glitter, it's super eye-catching!  If you're not into crazy nails, this would be a great idea for the holidays or for a party when you want something fun & different.  You can also try using the glitter polish just on your ring fingers, as made popular by Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere (here).
