1) Lands' End Cashmere Scarf - $40.99
I like to choose bright scarves to give my winter look a jolt of color while adding an extra layer of warmth (and this one is a great price for 100% cashmere).
2) H&M Sequin Beret - $12.95
Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean I have to sacrifice my love for sequins…and this is the perfect way to sparkle in the snow.
3) ASOS Leather & Faux Fur Gloves - $37.74
The leather is practical plus the faux fur will keep me extra toasty & add a dose of glamour.
4) Apt. 9 Maple Retro Square Sunglasses - $16.99
4) Apt. 9 Maple Retro Square Sunglasses - $16.99
Though it seems like an oxymoron, the combination of sun + snow can be downright blinding…making these oversized frames a stylish solution.
On days when I’m feeling adventurous enough to wear a skirt, wool tights are a must for keeping legs warm & protected from the whipping wind.
Since I wear my black puffer coat almost every day, I like the idea of adding a utilitarian-style belt on the outside to create a visible waist (so I look less like the Michelin Man).

The belt is a great idea! I hate having to wear my puffy coat because it's so unflattering, but it gets too cold to avoid it. I think I need to get this belt!
Love those gloves!

Your weather SCARES ME!! I can't image. I definitely wouldn't be able to make it. These suggestions are great.
Love your picks! When i first moved from Fl, to new york, it took me some time to develop a good winter wardrobe, but now I love fall and winter clothing waaaaay better than sundresses and capris like i used to wear in Florida!!

I so understand this. I moved from South Africa (where we have really mild winters) to Germany ... woweee, I never knew what cold was til I moved ... my head still reels when I think about it.
Love the scarf :-)

These are all absolutely darling! I've been a HUGE fan of driving gloves this year...H&M has some really swell ones. I got a cute winter fedora and wool cloche (hats are a must in MN) at Target recently...now I just need to take out my chunky scarves!

Living in NJ, there really isn't too many ways to stay a. warm and b. stylish when it gets cold out. But we can try. Hey - do you live near Woodbury Commons? Love that place - and I hope you know what I'm talking about. = P
