Vintage bracelet & earring set from my grandmother's jewelry collection - she gave these to me at my bridal shower and I wore them when I sang at her funeral.
Sterling silver bracelet with reproduced photos of my daughter when she was 1 year old - my husband gave this to me on my 2nd Mother's Day (you can buy them here).
Green amethyst ring - given to me by my husband on Valentine's Day 2010 (after a particularly tough year when he was traveling non-stop)

Your grandmother's jewelry is gorgeous! Hooray for heirlooms!
oh I love meaningful jewelry...or anything for that matter. Vintage handed down pieces are the best. These are all gorgeous pieces...love that ring!
LOVE the amethyst! I received a similar one for my college graduation! It goes with everything and is my daily wear! Great post.

These are great pieces. I have a ring that was my great great grandmother's that is probably one of my favorite pieces. I don't wear it all the time, but when I do I always think of the history.
These are some amazing pieces, I'm especially longing for the pieces your grandmother gave you, so unique! I love the story behind jewelry, it really speaks volumes sometimes. Thank you for sharing!
