Though I love collecting costume jewelry and have found very affordable pieces that I wear all the time, there are some that have been given to me throughout the years that have special meaning. I may not put them on frequently, but they are precious because of the memories they hold...
Vintage bracelet & earring set from my grandmother's jewelry collection - she gave these to me at my bridal shower and I wore them when I sang at her funeral.
Sterling silver bracelet with reproduced photos of my daughter when she was 1 year old - my husband gave this to me on my 2nd Mother's Day (you can buy them here).
Pearl necklace - given to me by my Dad & worn on my wedding day.
Green amethyst ring - given to me by my husband on Valentine's Day 2010 (after a particularly tough year when he was traveling non-stop)

oh I love meaningful jewelry...or anything for that matter. Vintage handed down pieces are the best. These are all gorgeous pieces...love that ring!

wow... you have an amazing collection! I love every single piece! my most treasured piece of jewelry is the necklace my parents bought for me for my 18th birthday... It was my first "real" piece of jewelry!

These are great pieces. I have a ring that was my great great grandmother's that is probably one of my favorite pieces. I don't wear it all the time, but when I do I always think of the history.
