Dresser Makeover

If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen the pictures I posted of this amazing antique dresser I found at Goodwill for $19.99.  I knew this was going to be the perfect piece for my new closet space, but it definitely needed some TLC first.  I had never "renovated" a piece of furniture before so I was very scared I would somehow screw it up.  But, thankfully it went quite smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

"Before" - the drawers were removed so my husband could sand them down

"After" - one coat of primer, two coats of white paint plus a quick spray of metallic gold onto the drawer pulls

This looks beautiful. In the spring I plan on refinishing my husband's childhood dresser.

Great job! I just spray painted an old piece silver to get an old Hollywood look and I love it!
