Spring Preparations

This might seem a bit premature to some, because winter technically just began.  But since this is my least favorite season (due to the arctic temperatures where I live), I decided a great way to keep my spirits up is to look ahead to spring.  Somehow, focusing on pops of neon & pastel palettes makes me happy...even if I am months away from actually being able to wear them.

Punchy polishes
(Revlon Siren, Sinful Colors Dream On, Orly Passion Fruit)

Seafoam green J. Crew necklace (bought on eBay)

Colorfully accented ALDO sandals (on sale here)

Bright skinny belts (purchased at Target)

Bold turquoise suede clutch (on sale here)

Absolutely perfect! When the weather is really bad there is nothing better than focussing on summer-is clothes and accessories! Love the necklace and the sandals! xo, Christina

LOVE it! I'm getting ready for spring with pops of neon too! I just ordered a pair of shoes which ended up being too big so I have to exchange but I'm definitely looking forward to the bright colors for spring! Gotta be ready!

I can't wait to see how you put everything together when the weather gets warmer.

Great buys! On a neon fix as well... been eying that bag for a while. LOVED it in pink but waited too long. That turq might be perfect for me. Great buys (amazing heels from Aldo; too bad my foot is a big 39 and not a bigger 40!). Hope you had a great weekend.

These will be fab for spring, but I think they would look great now to add a pop of color in the winter.

WOW! I'm not usually sold on every item a blogger has to post but this one I am! I'm especially in love with the J. Crew necklace and Aldo shoes! The nail polish colors are really great, too. I'm the worst with nail polish because my nails always peel and crack but I'm definitely going to get my hands on the Revlon Siren! I love that peachy color!

Oh, I just love the color of that Sinful Colors polish! Also, love the J. Crew necklace and skinny belts! I'm so ready for spring, even though we've had a very strange, mostly snow-free winter so far!

I just found your blog and I definitely know what you mean about looking ahead to spring, it's been so warm here in San Francisco lately. Love your pics and I wear Sinful nailpolish all the time, so bright and pretty. You have a great blog, I just saw your doublt duty sequin post, it's SO chic. Very pretty photos and that JCrew top is perfect. Following you now on twitter.

I'm jealous that it's cold where you live. It's 70 degrees where I live right now. People were walking around in gym shorts on Christmas. Love the purse and fingernail polish!!!!

Great stuff...I'm considering getting the envelope clutch but no more pink :( The price is so tempting!

Those polish colors are gorgeous and so is that clutch! I see no reason why you couldn't incorporate at least the belts into you winter wardrobe! :)

I, personally, hate the spring, mainly because of my allergies. HOWEVER, I can't deny that I'm extremely excited about all the color I've seen popping up for spring. Particularly neons!I can't get enough of them! I have to confess that I've already bought one pair of sandals, and three or four neon jeweled necklaces o_0 Maybe I'll share them via a post. Love those belts, I'll have to scoop up a couple next time I'm at Target.

Ciao!

I feel the same way: I'm not a big fan of winter and I can't wait to sport brights and pastels!

Thinking about spring is all that's getting me through how cold it is in Chicago right now!! Love those nail polishes - I did a bright coral manicure last week to get in the "warm" mood.
