How I Style My Jeans for Date Night

This series is brought to you by Levi’s® Curve ID
Find your custom fit at Levi’s® stores or Levi.com

Although I love getting dressed up, my husband isn't a big fan of it (to put it mildly).  So when we do get a night out alone, we typically choose more laid-back spots where we can share appetizers/drinks and people-watch.  But, my philosophy is...just because you are going somewhere more casual doesn't mean you can't look pulled together.  So, I thought I'd share with you my favorite way to style my Levi's® jeans for a date night out.  It's a no-fail combination that is both comfortable & stylish.  All you need are great-fitting skinny jeans, pointy-toe pumps, a silky blazer & a dash of sequins!

What I'm wearing:
Lauren Conrad blazer (on sale here), J. Crew sequin tank (via eBay), Levi's® skinny jeans (find your Curve ID here), Mossimo pumps (here), Forever 21 clutch, Accessorize necklace, J. Crew & Target bracelets, Lips: Cover Girl Temptress

I've been looking at those pumps - did you have to size up or down, or did they fit your regular size? Thanks!

Hi Lisa - the pumps run true to size (and they also come in nude & red)!

I really dig how you style the top with white blazer! I'd definitely adopt this style for office wear for future post. Thanks for the inspiration!

Ok, seriously I think I need to borrow (or steal) your collection of brightly colored fun purses and clutches. Love this pink one and the bright teal one from the previous post. - Katy

You look terrific! Can you tell me if the blazer fits true to size? Thanks! -Trish

You look amazing!
And I really like your blog so I start following you with bloglovin!

Hey Trish - the blazer actually runs a little big. I bought a 4 and it probably could be taken in more through the bust, but since it's meant to be a looser, silky style...it works. Hope that helps! :)

Trish said...

Thanks for the quick reply! That helps since it's hard to tell from the picture on Kohl's website. I think I may purchase it since it's on sale & I have a 10% discount coupon! And I have nothing like that in my wardrobe. Thanks again! -Trish

This is the perfect "dressing up jeans" outfit.
My hubby is the same way...he always makes fun of me for dressing up to go out to a local resturant in our VERY casual VERY small town.
It's better to be overdressed that under!!

That blazer looks great and expensive on you, I wouldn't have given it a second glance based off the website pic, which makes it look oversized and ill-fitted. I am excited to try it on in store.
