My love for stripes has been well documented here on PPF...so for June, I decided to do a manicure inspired by this adorable Kate Spade tote. Not only are the stripes fun, but the colors are undeniably feminine & summery! In an effort to save time, I did just one wide stripe instead of multiple ones (it's easier & quicker). I went with two different shades of pink, but you can choose any colors you want. The good news is that the only special "tool" you need is some Scotch tape. Here are the steps to recreating:
Paint one coat with your base color and let dry completely - I waited a couple hours before moving onto the next step.
Use small pieces of Scotch tape to cover the top & bottom parts of your nail, leaving a straight line across the middle. Paint the second color on the exposed quarter of your nail. Let dry for 10-15 minutes before carefully peeling off the tape. Apply a clear top coat & you're done!
