August Glossybox

It's my favorite time of month again - I received a new Glossybox in the mail and it was yet another edition where I loved almost every single item.  In fact, I have been so happy with all the boxes I've received, that I bought a 3-month gift subscription for my friend who hosted us in Maine a couple weeks ago!  Here is what I received & my review of the products:

1) Ellis Faas Ellis Lips
I really loved the texture & shine of this gloss, plus the brush-tip made application a breeze.  The shade I received is a darker, almost burnt, orange...which will be perfect for transitioning into fall.

2) Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment
Apply just a couple drops (a little goes a long way) to wet or dry hair, focusing on the ends.  It made my hair extra shiny without weighing it down - needless to say, I'm obsessed & will be buying the full size as soon as this runs out.

3) Ole Henriksen Truth Serum
Normally, I'm very wary about trying new anti-aging products because my sensitive skin doesn't always react well, but I have heard such wonderful things about this brand that I quickly opened it & applied right away.  So far so good...I'll let you know what kind of results I see!

4) Illamasqua Nail Varnish ~ Purity
As much as I really wanted a fall polish, I was excited to see this light peach was very similar to A Crewed Interest, but it has better coverage than the Essie formula & is much less streaky.  I'll definitely be checking out more colors from this brand.

5) Touch in Sol Feel like Honey Moon Skin Base
Like a moisturizer + primer all in one - it has tiny flecks of gold in it, which gives your skin a glowy look.  This is nice for days when I'm going bare-faced, but I'll still use my regular primer before applying foundation.  I also wasn't a big fan of the scent, but it faded after about 30 minutes.

Want to get your own Glossybox or buy a gift subscription for a friend?  You can sign up or learn more about their program here.

{FTC Disclosure: Glossybox provided me this box free of charge, but I was not paid to write about it and all the comments above are my honest feedback.}

Wow, what great products. I still have Birchbox but there are so many options out there now.

I wondered what the glittery stuff in the tube was. I like the little flecks of gold.
