I'm pretty sure July was the last time my husband and I had a real night out sans kids. Without having family nearby (aka free babysitting), it's hard to get excited about spending over $100 for a sitter + dinner and a movie. But, since I have a best friend who was nice enough to offer to watch the kids & this week was his birthday, we decided to take the opportunity & enjoy a long-overdue date. I, for one, will never turn down a chance to get all dressed up...and I was pretty excited the weather was warm enough that I didn't have to wear tights!

Lol, I love to dress up too. My husband came home for lunch today and says "why are you all dressed up?" I was like "why NOT?" ..all smiley that he noticed.
