Snow Leopard

I wear dresses so much less in the winter months, but I'm really making an effort to include them more in my cold-weather wardrobe this year.  I've found that layering sweaters over sleeveless styles (like this one) & adding tights makes them completely wearable, even on the coldest of days.  This is my new favorite combination - not only because of the fun mix of prints, but the cheery yellow hue is a welcome change from all the dark/neutral shades I've been gravitating towards this season.

What I'm wearing:
Pim & Larkin dress (worn as skirt; on sale here), French Connection sweater (via TJ Maxx; similar here or here), gifted Zara coat, Merona tights (here), RoseGold booties (via eBay; similar), Ann Taylor hat (here), Zara bag, Bracelets: Vintage & Forever 21 (similar), Nails: Essie Little Brown Dress

I'm co-hosting a Google+ hangout with some other bloggers & Send the Trend tonight at 7pm EST and would love for you to join us!  We'll be discussing 2013 trends &  giving our personal style tips.

Such an adorable outfit! I too started wearing my summer dresses with a wintery layer over-top. It's such a great way to continue to get use out of some summer pieces.

How lovely is this ensemble today! You look completely chic yet totally warm. Your accessories really are the icing on the cake. I also always tend to go for more "done" hats but your simple one is very elegant because of the styling. Excellent job.

Very well done layering! I love the print mix and pop of color for the winter.

You always have on the greatest shade of red lipstick. What is it? I always get one home and it ends up being too orange.

Miss E,

The shade I'm wearing here is actually a reddish orange, but if you're looking for a red with more blue undertones, L'Oreal Target Red is a great choice! :)
