Color Play

One of the "style resolutions" I made for myself for 2103 was to embrace more color in my wardrobe...and to be brave about mixing different hues.  I took a chance with this lavender + red + navy combination and was pleasantly surprised by how the shades worked so well together without clashing.  It's definitely inspired me to take more risks with color pairings going forward, instead of always playing it safe.

You may have noticed I've been wearing this bracelet in most of my posts lately (I pretty much never take it off!) - I wanted to share with you a special promotion that Stella & Dot is doing for the month of March.  When you spend $50 shopping my trunk show, you can get 50% off select silver statement jewelry (see the ad in my right sidebar or click here to start shopping)!

I like this. The lavender makes the red shirt look almost pink, so when you put it with the white blazer it's all kinds of goodness. Love!

You should totally keep making fun color combos. I love it. I mean my theory is, if all the colors can be in a rainbow together and look good, there aren't really any color combos that clash!

Thank you so much Kathy! My hair is naturally curly, so there isn't much involved in this particular look other than air-drying & separating the curls. I did a post about my hair routine here:

Hope that helps!
