How To: Wear Florals

I received a note from a reader earlier this week asking how to pull off floral prints for spring.  So I decided to answer by creating a post around this sometimes-tricky trend.  My best advice is to choose a print that looks modern & fresh - I've found that softer pastels or smaller florals work best.  Once you've found a piece that you love, pair it with classic items so you aren't over-working the look.  If you're still unsure, you can ease into it with a fun accessory.  Here are some styling suggestions & my favorite affordable picks:
