Girl in Green

This weekend was full of unpacking boxes & continuing to get settled in our new house - it's been a ton of work and I'll be so relieved when we're done!  But, we did finally take a break from the chaos & gave ourselves a well-deserved rest on Sunday.  After being in a t-shirt & shorts all week, it felt so nice to paint my nails & throw on a girly dress.  I also couldn't wait to try out my new phone case from caseable, which arrived late last week.  I had so much fun browsing through the amazing artwork on their site to create my own custom case & fell in love with this illustration when I came across it - isn't it cute?  If you're looking for something special & unique, I definitely recommend checking out their site!

What I'm wearing:
Isabel & Nina dress (similar herehere or here), Madewell belt (similar), ALDO sandals (similar), Zara Braided Shopper (on sale!) & ring (similar), ALDO FedoraExpress bracelet, Custom iPhone Case c/o caseable, Nails: Essie Chubby Cheeks

What kind of inside pockets does that purse have? Zara website doesn't show much of the inside. Thanks.

Kimberly said...

Hi Emerson,

It has a large inside removable pocket about the same size as the bag that snaps into place. Hope that helps! :)

I love the idea of designing my own phone case! And I have had my eye on the Zara shopper ... so tempted to click buy! Is it a good bag? Does it come with a long strap? I'm super particular. :)

You're so freaking adorable. :) Love this pretty dress, and how you styled it. Wishing that tote had a longer handle because I'd be all over it.

Yes, it comes with a detachable shoulder/crossbody strap - I just never use mine. Highly recommend this bag - it's my favorite tote! :)

I don't want to be a downer but I really don't like this dress. I love the colour of it - that is great. The armholes look too big on you and the waist (there is none) doesn't look cinched in enough even though you tried with the belt. I would not recommend anyone buy this dress as it would probably look like a sack.

I really think the panama hat is unflattering - on all women. I think it's such a useless accessory and not attractive.

I do, usually love your outfits so hopefully a little disagreement on this one is ok!

Kimberly said...

Hi Kimberly,

Thanks for taking the time to voice your opinion! I agree that the armholes are a little large on this dress & that the shape isn't as tailored at the waist as dresses I normally wear. I am planning on taking it to the tailor soon to have these areas fixed - I just didn't have a chance to do it yet.

And I completely understand that panama hats & fedoras aren't for everyone - it took me quite a while to warm up to them too.

I always appreciate my readers sharing their thoughts with me - even when it's constructive criticism, so thank you for your honesty & thank you for continuing to read even if this wasn't your favorite look. :)
