In With The New

I love trying new-to-market beauty items because, as technology advances, scientists are getting better at delivering products that actually provide the results we all crave.  I personally test tons of these as they hit store shelves, but these eight scored at the top of my list & had me going back for more.  Some are on the expensive side, but they worked so well that I don't mind spending a little more on them.  Here are my new favorite hair, skin & beauty buys for January:

1) Jergens BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream (also in medium/dark)
This lightweight lotion absorbs quickly & moisturizes with shea butter while evening skintone.  Thanks to the added silicone, it also reflects light, blurs imperfections & fills in wrinkles so skin looks smoother.

My under-eye area is truly my achilles heel so I will try anything to lighten up my dark circles.  These paraben-free gels de-puff, tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines.  Though a little expensive, the results are nothing short of miraculous!

Finally an affordable facial oil that works just as well as the more expensive brands!  This blend of 8 essential oils sinks into skin without feeling greasy & gives you a dewy, soft complexion with just 3 drops.

This exfoliator gently buffs away dead cells, leaving skin soft & smooth.  Because the crystals are so fine, it's not irritating on my sensitive skin + the citrus smell is amazing.

5) Frederic Fekkai Full Blown Volume Foam Conditioner
Those of you with thin, fine hair know how difficult it is to find a conditioner that will actually moisturize hair without weighing it down.  This product is truly the holy grail for plumping strands without drying them out.

6) Frederic Fekkai PrX Reparatives Mending Elixir
A velvety serum with argan oil to smooth hair cuticles, moisturize & add shine - perfect for the winter months when hair is especially dry.  Bonus: the scent is seriously addicting.

These polishes are packed with crushed marine pearls which makes them highly reflective & when used with the topcoat, the glossy finish lasts twice as long as usual polish.  My manicure was shiny & chip-free for over 7 days!

8) Lipstick Queen Invisible Lip Liner
My previous favorite was discontinued, so I was happy to find this equally impressive replacement.  Run this around the edges of your lips before applying lipstick or gloss and your color won't feather or bleed.
