Shaping Up

I wasted so many years wishing I was sample size with slender thighs & narrow hips...and the more I focused on what I wasn't, the more miserable I became. But the truth is that my body is & has always been pear-shaped. And I've learned that I'm so much happier when I embrace the curves I was given instead of longing to be built like someone else.

So naturally, I jumped at the chance to try these new Pixie Pants with two-way stretch, in hopes that I would finally find the perfect pair to flatter my figure. I fell so head-over-heels in love with the fit that I bought them in multiples. This print in particular, with the piping down the side, creates the illusion of even longer legs. But I also picked up some in black because they're classic & versatile (and wore them over the weekend with a chambray shirt, pointed flats & my new bucket bag - love!).

What I'm wearing:

Lovers & Friends vest (similar), J. Crew Factory tee (similar here or here),
ictoria's Secret blouse (similar), c/o Old Navy pants (on sale + extra 17% off w/ code LUCKY17),
Guess pumps (similar), Mossimo bag (similar here or here), Bracelets: Vintage (similar), Zara (similar), c/o INPINK
