The Softer Side

If I'm being 100% honest, there are plenty of times when I just want to wear my pajamas all Saturday long.  But I'm also a believer that weekends can & should be stylish.  So why not have the best of both worlds?  I'm going to show you how with these soft Old Navy pieces, which are the perfect solution to your comfort cravings.  With a relaxed fit & laid-back ease, they're the next best thing to actual lounge wear...only much more chic!

Everyone loves a lightweight tunic and this linen-blend style is ideal for wearing with your favorite denim, but it's also long enough to double as a cover-up for the pool or beach.  I chose to tuck mine in here to show off the fun pattern of these belted shorts.  They also come in solid colors, but I couldn't resist the summery print – even if I’m not planning a tropical getaway, these just put me in a good mood.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Old Navy Linen-Blend Tunic (I'm wearing an XS),
c/o Old Navy Belted Poplin Shorts (I'm wearing a small; also in solid colors),
c/o Old Navy Tote (similar), Mango Sandals (also love these),
ALDO Hat (similar), c/o ShopLately bracelets (similar)

High-Neck Tank + Silky Pants

Let's talk versatility!  Everyone needs a comfortable knit tank for spring & summer.  This high-neck version has a flattering (read: not too clingy) fit and comes in both solids and stripes.  Wear now with a lightweight cardigan, skinny jeans & espadrilles (ideal for those cooler days) and all through the summer with crisp shorts & classic wedges

These printed pants are another wardrobe workhorse that strike the perfect balance between dressy & casual.  Try them paired with a simple cami and white blazer for brunch with friends or throw them on with a chambray shirt & cool slides for an easy weekend look.  Because Old Navy's casual pant selection is so good right now, I also picked up this pair of chambray pants (which are unbelievably soft & a great alternative to jeans).
