Denim Devoted

Today I'm talking about the best denim styles for fall & sharing two ways to style them.  My Old Navy Rockstar Jeans (seen here, here & here) are, without a doubt, the most worn pair of denim in my closet.  They fit me just right, are perfectly broken in and the medium blue wash goes with everything.  So it takes a lot to get me to favor another pair over them, but this month I took on that challenge & I think I may have found two more to help expand my denim collection.  If you're also in the market for a new pair (or are looking to refresh your fall wardrobe in general), now is a great time to shop!  Old Navy is currently offering 30% off men's & women's and 15% off kids & baby items online + free shipping on orders over $25 using code OURSTYLE (this sale is good for today & tomorrow only so don't miss it)!

When it comes to weekend wear, I want to be comfortable while still looking pulled together.  I like the idea of casual layers in soft muted colors like this pastel pink sweater & heather gray vest.  The lighter wash of these skinny jeans + the special patchwork details make them the ideal choice for a Saturday filled with soccer games & running errands.  I'll admit that have been on the fence about the whole backpack trend...until I came across this soft plaid version.  It holds just as much as my beloved bucket bag and adds a fun dose of fall prep to my looks.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Old Navy Quilted Vest (wearing an XS; also comes in 6 other colors),
c/o Old Navy Lightweight Sweater (wearing a Small; also comes in taupe, olive & plum),
c/o Old Navy Rockstar Distressed Jeans (wearing size 4), Converse Sneakers, c/o Old Navy Backpack
Olivia Burton Watch (identical style here), c/o BaubleBar Earrings, Nails: Essie Angora Cardi

There's something I love about wearing all my favorite oversized pieces together, but balancing them with feminine details like pointed pumps, a tousled ponytail & bold red lip.  It's the perfect combination of tomboy meets girl and, not to mention, it's incredibly comfortable too!  The medium wash & subtle distressing of these relaxed boyfriend jeans means I can dress them up or down - if you prefer flats over heels, this outfit would be equally as chic with these block-heel loafers.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Old Navy Cardigan (this year's version here), c/o Old Navy Boyfriend Plaid Shirt (wearing a Small)
c/o Old Navy Boyfriend Skinny Ankle Jeans (recommend sizing down; wearing size 2), c/o MIA pumps
NastyGal Satchel (similar here or here), Madewell Earrings, Lips: Maybelline Red Revival
