Comfort Zone

We all have those pieces or a combination of pieces that we feel most like ourselves in.  For me, that just happens to be all things neutral.  Though I have nothing against a well-placed pop of color (more on that later this week), I find that soft earthy tones are much easier to make look sophisticated & chic.  For this outfit, I remixed favorites from my closet, combining shades of taupe, chocolate brown, camel & ivory.  This cashmere sweater was a more expensive purchase for me, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it already (see other ways I've styled it here & here).  This outfit would also be beautiful with a blush-colored sweater or with a leopard scarf to add a little print & break up the solid tones.

What I'm wearing:
Warehouse Coat (similar here or here), H&M Scarf (similar),
J. Crew Factory Cashmere Sweater (recommend sizing up; wearing a Small),
c/o Dorothy Perkins Skirt (last seen here; also in tall), Dolce Vita Katin Boots
Forever 21 Bag (similar here or here), c/o Capwell + Co. Earrings, Lips: Kat Von D Lolita II
