Date Night Fringe

My personal fashion philosophy is to stick with what you love & what you know works best for you.  For me, this usually means timeless tailored pieces with a few carefully selected trends mixed in.  When it comes to trying out new trends, I never want to spend a lot because it can be hard to know how long they'll last.  So I think it's smart to test the waters with affordable pieces first to help save yourself money in the long run.

Fringe came back in a big way this year and it was one of the trends that I whole-heartedly embraced.  In small doses, I think this is a great way to have a little fun with your looks. I'd seen so many fringed heels come out earlier this year, but every pair I tried on had too much fringe on them, which I found wasn't flattering on my feet.

So I was happy to discover these Payless heels, which have just the right amount of fringe without being over the top.  They come in two colors, are surprisingly comfortable & are on sale now for just $15!  Though they look just as great with jeans, I decided to dress them up for a romantic date night with a velvet camisole, oversized cardigan & lace pencil skirt.  These would be the ideal shoes for all those upcoming holiday parties and no one will know how little you spent on them!

What I'm wearing:
H&M Cardigan (similar here or here), H&M Camisole, Piperlime Collection Skirt (similar here or here),
BaubleBar earrings (similar here or here), Ring: c/o InPink & BaubleBar (similar),
