Petal Pink

When I bought this sleeveless top back in December, I thought I would have to wait until the spring to wear it.  But after playing around in my closet, I discovered that I could layer it under a shorter-length sweater, which allows the fun fringe detail to peek out below the hem.  This petal pink cashmere (an amazing Goodwill find from two years ago) seemed like the perfect pairing for a polished feminine winter outfit.

Words cannot describe how happy I was to discover this bag - I'd been looking for one with a similar shape for a while, but everything I came across was too expensive.  The soft gray hue is so versatile and the size is ideal for everyday (plus, the strap is adjustable so you can wear it as a crossbody or on your shoulder).  The designer-inspired style instantly elevates any look and, at under $35, it's a steal!  The owner of the store, Rachel, was kind enough to name it after me and I couldn't be more flattered.  Update: it looks like this bag has recently sold out, but I contacted the shop & she said she will be restocking more soon - for those who are interested, you can pre-order by emailing and she will add you to the waiting list.

What I'm wearing:
J. Crew sweater (current version here; similar here or here), J. Crew top (similar options here & here),
Forever 21 pants (similar here or here), Pour La Victoire pumps (similar here or here),
Yosa bag (also in cognac & black), ASOS necklace (similar here or here), Zara ring (similar)

Oh I just love this outfit. I'm a sucker for petal pink. It's such a simple outfit but the fringe (which I would never have thought to wear) makes it special and unexpected. Good one! :)
