Double Fringe

If I had to pick just two colors to wear all season long, it would probably be white & blue.  I've been finding myself gravitating towards these shades lately because the pairing gives off such a fresh summery vibe.  This outfit is a combination of a few recent purchases - a fun fringe tank that can be dressed up or down & this chic wrap skirt that can transition from work to weekend.  These earrings are part of my BaubleBar Private Sale & you can get them for just $15 with code PPF15 - I love how they add a cool modern feel to this look.

What I'm wearing:
Townsen Fringe Top, LOFT Tweed Skirt (also love this one), c/o Dorothy Perkins Heels (similar here or here),
Straw Clutch via PoshMark (similar save or splurge), Stella & Dot Rings (similar), Bracelets: LC Lauren Conrad

Neutral Striped

My in-laws are in town and staying with us for the next 10 days, so we're having fun showing off the area to them & exploring new spots along the way.  This week our weather jumped into the 80's, which had me frantically pulling out all my shorts & sleeveless tops from last year.  I wore this casual outfit earlier in the week and, even though the pieces are fairly simple, the combination of these rich earth tones and mixed textures gave it just enough interest to keep it from being boring.  I'll be taking Monday off to enjoy the holiday with my family - I hope you all have a wonderful & relaxing Memorial Day weekend!

H&M Knit Top (similar here, here or here), Ann Taylor Shorts (similar here, here or here),
ShoeMint Sandals (similar; flat version here), c/o Old Navy Bag (similar here or here),

PPF Private Sale

I'm so excited to share with you today about an exclusive sale I've launched with BaubleBar!  As you know, I've been a long-time fan of the brand and I can safely say that about 80% of my current jewelry collection is from their store. They gave me the opportunity to carefully curate a selection of my favorite sale jewelry from their site & we've partnered together to offer you an extra 15% off those pieces with code PPF15 + shipping on all orders is free!  This is a great way to stock up on some pretty baubles for the season for less...or buy gifts in advance for family & friends. You can shop the entire collection here & read on to see how I've styled up a few of my top picks into 3 different spring looks.

For my first outfit, I wanted to create a sleek modern look to complement this glossy gold cuff.  So I paired this chic asymmetrical top with my favorite faux leather skirt & nude clutch.  Keeping everything else minimal helps put the focus on this standout jewelry.  These studded hoops actually come in a set with another pair of dainty pave earrings & you can get them both for just $15 with my discount code!

What I'm wearing:
RACHEL Rachel Roy Top (wearing an XS), Zara Skirt (similar here or here), J. Crew Clutch (similar),
c/o BaubleBar Athena Grid Cuff, c/o BaubleBar Dasher Earring Duo
BaubleBar Crystal Mason Ring (excluded from sale)

Most of my weekend looks include fairly simple jewelry - so, for this casual outfit, I layered two necklaces together (this beaded style & this dainty style) and paired them with circular ear jackets to help add a dose of polish to these relaxed basics.  Though I wore these with laid-back pieces, these are sophisticated enough to wear with more dressed-up styles (& great for the office too)!

What I'm wearing:
Cloth & Stone Chambray Shirt (similar here or here), LOFT Skirt (similar here or here; midi option here),
Yosa Bag (similar), c/o BaubleBar Sea Bead Layered Necklace (also in navy),
c/o BaubleBar Dash Layered NecklaceBaubleBar Curvaceous Ear Jackets

This fringe sweater provides the ideal neutral backdrop to really let this crystal Y-necklace shine - the shape of this piece is great for wearing with all your crew-neck tops, blouses & sweaters to add some sparkle & interest.  And this set of stacking rings matched so perfectly because the metal is the same color - wear just a couple at a time or put them all on at once for a statement look.

What I'm wearing:
Banana Republic Top (similar), LOFT Skirt (similar), c/o Charming Charlie Clutch
BaubleBar Satellite Y-Chain Necklace, c/o BaubleBar Riven Ring Quad

Crochet & Suede

I'm definitely one of those people who teeters back and forth between embracing trends and sticking with classic staples...but when you find something you love, I say to go for it!  This crochet pullover has a slightly boho feel to it, but it's still perfectly feminine - and it's beautifully designed with scalloped edges and modern lace-up detailing.  I actually packed this & wore it on our trip to D.C. with cropped denim & huarache flats, but I decided to try a more polished look this time by pairing it with a suede mini to play up the 70's vibe.

What I'm wearing:
c/o People's Project LA Crochet Top, LOFT Camisole, Vintage Skirt (similar here, here or here),
ShoeMint Mules (similar save or splurge), Zara Bag (similar here or here), c/o Old Navy Ring (similar),
Bracelets: J. Crew Factory (similar), c/o SoKo (similar) & Banana Republic
Earrings: Banana Republic & c/o Capwell & Co. (similar), Nails: Revlon Cafe Pink

20 Under $20

There are few things that excite me more than hunting for deals...and this month I've found some great spring-to-summer styles that are all $20 or less!  I just picked up the tassel tee below and it's literally the softest draped knit I've ever put on.  I've also started including some beauty items in these posts because there are some value sets that are perfect for when you want to try a few new products, but don't want to buy full size (my favorite highlighters were just packaged into this convenient trio, which I highly recommend).  I was also thrilled discover a new-to-me jewelry brand (numbers 19-21 below) who make these pretty stone bracelets that would be great for stacking!

2 Ways To Wear: Printed Tank

Without a doubt, my most popular posts are the ones where I feature an item styled in different ways - and it's no surprise to me because I also see the value in purchasing versatile pieces to help stretch your wardrobe as far as possible.  So, I'm hoping to incorporate more content like this in the future, starting today!  I'm sharing how to take a printed tank from day to evening.  While you could easily style this top very simply with jeans and wedges, I wanted to think of other ways to wear it in addition to a casual weekend look.

I typically shy away from colorful prints, but I loved the chevron pattern & special details on this top.  The criss-cross straps in the back add some interest while the layered ruffle gives it a feminine feel.  For this first look, I paired it with a ladylike midi skirt & lace-up sandals - perfect for a Sunday brunch with friends.  I liked the idea of wearing a short layered necklace to add some polish.  I also love mixing & matching dainty rings - I used two sets (here & here) but split them apart into two different stacks.   You may remember this pineapple cork clutch from my Splurge Or Save post last week - it is such a fun accessory for summer & looks even more luxe in person!

To transition this look to a casual evening with friends, I swapped out the midi skirt for silky shorts and threw on a lightweight moto-style jacket.  I love the way changing your accessories can also transform your outfit (even if you're wearing the same pieces), so I opted for this beaded tassel necklace, geometric gold rings & dainty earrings. Because of the colors in the print, this would be the perfect tank for 4th of July with some denim shorts & flat sandals.  I also wore it to a meeting at my kids' school paired with navy cropped trousers, a linen blazer & pointed flats.  The possibilities are endless!
