Printed Perfection

More than any other time of year, summer is the season to embrace bright colors & bold prints.  Even if you're like me & typically shy away from prints, now is the perfect time to give them a try - you can start small with one patterned piece or mix two graphic prints together for a cool modern look.  Today I'm sharing a couple new ways to incorporate prints into your wardrobe with some of my favorite new arrivals from Old Navy.

I love a good maxi & this printed dress is ideal for summer parties, an evening on the beach or wine tasting with friends.  Normally I prefer for my dresses to be fully lined, but I appreciate how lightweight this one is without being see-through, which means I can wear it even on the hottest days this summer.   If you're petite & worried about the length of this dress, it comes in a shorter version here.  I also love the print & fit of this midi dress, which I just ordered online since they didn't have it in my local store.  You could wear either of these dresses with heels or wedges, but because we were exploring our local vineyard, I opted for comfortable flat sandals instead.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Old Navy Printed Maxi Dress (wearing an XS; also love this one), Vintage Belt (similar),
Similar Sandals, Kimchi Blue Bag, c/o Charming Charlie Bracelets
House of Harlow Earrings, c/o Charming Charlie Rings (here & here)

I'm all about comfort in the warm weather months, so I think having at least one pair of soft slouchy pants is essential.  The tribal graphic print of this pair makes them a fun departure for me, but the neutral colors ensure I can effortlessly pair them with just about anything in my closet.  I fell in love with the shape & pom-pom trim of this solid tank - but, if you follow me on Snapchat (ppfgirl), you may have seen that I also wore these pants with a striped tank last week...which was a fun way to play around with print mixing.  In addition to these pieces, I picked up this printed skirt that I plan on pairing with this lace-back top.  I also tried on this jumpsuit, which I normally wouldn't gravitate towards, but the fit was amazing and it was unbelievably comfortable (recommend sizing down, if you're ordering online).
