Dainty Wrap

Today I'm excited to be sharing another piece from my upcoming jewelry collection (see the first necklace here). The Emily Ring is named after my niece, who just graduated from college in May.  My sister is 10 years older than me so I was in high school when Emily was born - I skipped class so I could be there for her birth, spent countless hours babysitting her when she was little, attended her sports games & concerts in middle school and watched her blossom into a beautiful young woman.  The past year has been an extremely difficult one for her, but she has handled each trial with strength, grace & a wisdom far beyond her years - so I'm incredibly proud to have this piece named after her.

Geometric shapes are a theme throughout my collection, with triangles being one of the main designs.  The Emily Ring is 18k gold plated over .925 sterling silver and features two CZ triangles.  I've been obsessed with trillion-cut stones for a while, but all of the versions I've seen are real diamond solitaires (like this one), which are way out of my budget.  Since I have a few wrap rings in my jewelry box that I wear constantly, I decided to combine the two styles into this dainty design.  I love open rings like this because they will adjust to fit on any finger you like and you can wear with other rings you already own.

By far, the most exciting part about this project is that 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization Feed My Starving Children.  It was so important to me to make giving back a part of my business model (read why here).  I'll be sharing in more detail soon about this particular charity, how I've been involved with the work they are doing & why I chose them.  I'm getting very close to the launch date for my entire collection & I cannot wait for you to see the rest of the styles!  You can sign up here to be notified once it goes live & you will receive an email letting you know when the full line is available to shop.  Thanks so much for all of your support!
