Explore In Style

Now that we've hit the middle of July, I feel like I'm finally adjusting to my summer routine...and with the consistently beautiful weather, we're starting to plan more & more day trips as a family to discover different areas in upstate New York.  Even if you can't get out of the city, it's fun to play tourist in your own town and venture outside of your usual spots.  Today I'm sharing some of my favorite versatile & comfortable pieces from Old Navy for these types of adventures so you can look stylish while exploring new places.  They are currently offering 25% off your online order today only (no code needed), so it's a great time to stock up on some mid-summer styles!

This printed midi dress is incredibly versatile because you can wear it during the day with flat sandals and a panama hat, but it will also work for evening when paired with lace-up heels & a straw bag.  I love that the smocking in back ensures for a perfect fit through the bust & that the straps are adjustable.  Thanks to the slightly darker hue & bohemian print, this will also transition nicely into the fall with a denim jacket.  Other one-piece styles that are great for traveling in are this embroidered shift, this button-front midi & this printed jumpsuit.

What I'm wearing:

Similar ClutchLucky Brand Hoops, Similar Cuff, Nails: Essie Mrs. Always Right

As much as I love wearing dresses, sometimes they simply aren't practical for the day's activities.  If you're doing more active exploring, casual separates with light layers are a great way to be prepared for anything.  If I know we're going to be out & about all day and into the evening, I always bring along a woven scarf that can double as a wrap for later in the evening - the tapestry print of this one is so pretty, but I'm also partial to this striped style.

These neutral shorts are great for traveling because they will go with any of your tops & they're made of lightweight Lyocell - so you'll stay cool even on the hottest days.  I've talked before about the difficulty of finding shorts that aren't too short, so I appreciate that these hit at just the right spot.  When I came across this sueded swing tank in the store, I couldn't stop touching it - the fabric is unbelievably soft, which makes it drape in such a flattering way. I love that it's a slightly longer you can tuck it into shorts (as I did here) or wear it untucked over white skinny jeans.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Old Navy Sueded Tank (comes in 6 colors; also in tall & petite), c/o Old Navy Scarf
c/o Old Navy Shorts (recommend sizing down), Mango Sandals (similar), Similar Bag
Bracelets: c/o Charming Charlie (similar) & J. Crew Factory (similar)

Thank you to Old Navy for kindly sponsoring this post.
All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
