My Everyday Makeup

I've received quite a few questions on Snapchat & Instagram lately about my makeup routine and, because I've recently discovered some new-to-me brands that I love, I decided to share an updated breakdown of the products I'm using each day.  Some of these are a bit more expensive than your typical drugstore brands - in my opinion, if you find a product that works well, it's probably worth the extra money.  However, I understand that everyone's budget is different, so I've included links to some affordable options that are similar in consistency & color.  This post is specifically focused on products, but for more detailed instructions, you can view all of my step-by-step beauty tutorials here.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - I've tried so many primers over the years but I keep coming back to this one.  The oil-free formula helps my makeup go on more smoothly and stay put all day.
It Cosmetics CC Cream - I was previously using this full-coverage foundation, but found it to be so drying on my skin.  This CC Cream goes on like a dream and has a luminous, natural-looking finish that I love (I use Light).
BeautyBlender Pure Sponge - After much investigation, I discovered that I was having a reaction to the dye in the pink version of this sponge...so I switched to this pure option and haven't had any problems since.  This is essential for getting a flawless finish with your foundation & for blending your under-eye concealer.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder - I use this to set my concealer because it doesn't crease and has a brightening affect (I need all the help I can get under my eyes!).  But be careful because a little goes a long way and it's easy to overdo it.
NARS Blush (Orgasm) - My favorite for over 3 years now!  This shade is universally flattering and has a nice subtle shimmer.
Arbonne Translucent Powder - This is a product that I don't mind splurging on because it works so well.  I apply this after my CC Cream & concealer, but before the Brightening Powder.
Benefit Fake Up Concealer (Light)It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer - My dark circles are pretty severe, so I've had to adopt a 3-step process to adequately cover them.  I start with this concealer, which provides light coverage while moisturizing (thanks to the built in balm).  Then, I apply this concealer, which is a more heavy-duty formula that finishes the job.  Once I've blended it in well, I dust on a light coat of the Brightening Powder to set it & prevent creasing.
*If I have a little extra time, I will lightly contour using It Cosmetics You Sculpted (I apply Soft Contour in the hollows of my cheeks and Radiance Highlight on my cheekbones)

It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara - I wish I didn't love this mascara so much because it is pretty spendy, but I fell in love with the lengthening & flake-free formula.  To save money, I rotate between using this one and CoverGirl Clump Crusher Extensions Mascara.
Clarins Kohl Eyeliner (Deep Brown) - I prefer kohl liners over their liquid counterparts because they create a softer look that's less harsh for daytime.  I like that I can diffuse the line with the small brush on the other end for a smudgy look.  My favorite affordable dupe for this eyeliner is Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal (Sable Brown).
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette - I've more than gotten my money's worth with this eye palette and, though I've had fun creating more intense evening looks, it's also great for every day.  I typically use Radar & High on my lids and browbones, but sometimes I'll add Whiskey in the outer corners for a little more definition.  My favorite affordable dupe for this shadow is Ulta Eyeshadow (in Toast & Silk).
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (Soft Brown)Clear Brow Gel - After hearing so many beauty bloggers rave about this eyebrow pencil, I finally ordered it and I will never go back.  The super-fine tip allows me to fill in sparse areas & define my brow shape without it looking too "penciled in".  Once I'm done applying, I use the spooled brush on the opposite end to blend and then I set it with this clear brow gel (which also works great to tame flyaway hairs on the go).
Lipstick Queen Invisible Lip Liner - I never put on lipstick without first applying this around the outside of my lips. Nothing I've tried has worked better to prevent feathering & bleeding.
Trish McEvoy Pencil (Nude)MAC Tinted LipGlass (Prrr) - this is my favorite everyday lip color combination.  The pencil is a creamy formula that stays put and I like to add just a dab of this shimmery gloss in the middle of my bottom lip to create the illusion of fullness & to add a little shine.
