One-Hit Wonder

Thank you to Zappos for kindly sponsoring this post.
All opinions are 100% honest & all items were hand-selected by me.

As much as I love mix & matching separates and playing around with different combinations, there are days when I crave the ease of throwing on a single item & instantly being ready to head out the door.  It makes my morning getting ready routine much simpler (and faster!) & it's nice to have some "one & done" pieces in my wardrobe that I know will make me look put-together, even if I don't feel like it.

I am so thrilled to be partnering with Zappos for the next couple of months to highlight some affordable spring styles - today is the first post in the series & I'm sharing 3 looks with you featuring pieces I selected from their site. You may think of footwear when you hear their name, but they have so much more to offer than just great shoes (although there's plenty of those too!).  I was pleasantly surprised by their extensive inventory, which assured me that I was guaranteed to find what I was looking for.

I'm not usually a fan of jumpsuits because it's so difficult to find a style that fits my torso just right, doesn't look too juvenile & flatters my shape.  But, this striped style checked all those boxes & I just loved the cutout tie-detail in back.  The fully-lined lightweight fabric will breathe well during the summer months - I can see wearing this with flat sandals for a picnic in the park or with espadrille wedges for brunch with friends.

This dress is made of the softest knit material, which makes it so wearable for every day + it has pockets (always a win in my book)!  I decided to play up the bohemian vibe of this print with a twisted-back hairstyle & simple jewelry. I honestly can't say enough good things about these lace-up sandals - this is probably the softest suede I've ever felt! I actually bought a pair like these last year that weren't real leather and they didn't hold up very well + the straps would slip down every time I walked.  These are so well made and the lower block heel makes them incredibly versatile.

I think every woman needs a little red dress in her wardrobe - when I put this one on, it was like an instant mood-booster.  The strappy detail at the neckline brings attention to your shoulders and the draped fabric skims over curves without being too clingy.  And the best part is that when I pulled it out of the bag it arrived in, it was virtually wrinkle-free (which means it would be an excellent choice to take with you when you travel)!  Just add some metallic heels & an embellished clutch for an elegant & sophisticated feel.
