Pretty Pastels + A Giveaway

This post is brought to you in partnership with Shoe Carnival.
All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.

I think there are certain timeless styles that every woman needs in her footwear collection that will be versatile and, most importantly, comfortable. Today I'm talking about my top 5 picks for spring & sharing two looks featuring a classic heeled sandal.  I'll be showing you how I dress them up & down and I'm also partnering with Shoe Carnival to offer an amazing giveaway so you can give your shoe closet the update it needs!

It's very much still "early spring" here in the Northeast - meaning that there are piles of snow hanging around, but they are (finally) beginning to melt.  So, lightweight layers, like this draped trench, are a must for our cooler days. The best part about finding the perfect neutral sandal is that they go with everything from relaxed denim to feminine dresses & skirts.  I love that the ankle strap of these heels hits me at just the right spot so they work well with my favorite jeans (no rolling up required!).  My must-have styles for the season include a classic espadrille wedge (also love these), a lace-up style & gladiator sandal (this woven pair is a great option too).

What I'm wearing:
c/o Madden Girl Beella Sandals
Warehouse Trench Coat (identical), Express Camisole
Madewell Jeans (similar here or here),
Yosa Bag (identical here or here), Stella & Dot Necklace
Cluse Watch, Lucky Brand Bracelet

I just can't get enough of pastel hues this time of year and this satin mint green blouse is such a fun color that I didn't previously have in my closet.  I already own a neutral leather ankle-strap heel, but I love the softness of this faux suede + the taupe shade actually might be more versatile than my nude pair (while still providing a leg-lengthening effect).  I also can't live without a black strappy heel for those dressier occasions.

Many of you have mentioned that you prefer a sturdier heel, so these block-heeled sandals are a great option.  I found them very easy to walk around in and didn't have any issues with the width or the fit of the strap around the toes (which is often a problem for me).  These also come in 5 other colors, including the prettiest soft blue & a shimmering silver that would be gorgeous for evening!  I usually wear between a 9 or 9.5 in sandals and I ended up getting these in a 10, so I'd recommend sizing up if you're planning to order online.

What I'm wearing:
c/o Madden Girl Beella Sandals
Forever 21 Blouse (also love this one), H&M Skirt (identical here or here),
On lips: NARS Roman Holiday, On toes: Essie Fiesta
