Have you tried these leggings?!
When thinking about what to share this week, I landed on something I personally have never worn before. Leather leggings. Are you scared? I was too! Okay, honestly, we are going to talk about faux leather leggings here. But the idea of wearing something tight and leather-like scared me. Keep reading for 4 ways to wear faux leather leggings.
I’ve seen these leggings all over the place for a few years now but always thought they weren’t for me, or they’d be uncomfortable. How could I, a busy mom, pull them off? Well, I purchased these a couple months ago and had to share with you because they are my new go-to. With working from home, these make me feel a little more put together than the other pants I gravitate towards. They are also more comfortable than jeans, especially if you have a job that has you sitting at a desk most of the day.
Maybe you are in the same boat as I was and have not tried this style yet. Maybe you don’t want to commit to the price tag. Well ladies, I have put together style options for you to see how versatile these can be! These styles should work for most body types but if you have another style you’d like to see please let me know.
Also, be sure to check out this post for a round up of budget-friendly options. You won’t believe the price on some of these and [SPOILER] they are comfortable. When shopping for these, I read reviews (with photos) of women with all body types, and I found women of all shapes and sizing rocking this look!

Four Style Options
Below are some pieces I like to pair with them to give you some inspiration. You likely already have many of these pieces in your closet, like I did. Mix and match the pieces shown within each option for multiple looks. This is just 4 ways to wear faux leather leggings, honestly there are so many more ways to style these.
1. Sweater Weather: I am a sucker for an effortless all black outfit. So timeless. I also love a creamy white sweater paired with earth tone boots, the “leather” brings edge to this warm outfit.
2. Casual: A jacket, layered with a neutral tank, and paired with fun (leopard) shoes. Perfect weekend look.
3. Office Wear: Oversized blazer and tunic tank, with heels or booties. Mix and match any of the pieces below to carry the style throughout the year.
4. Lounging around: Flannel or oversized tee with tennis shoes. So simple and comfortable.
