Belt bags are a huge trend right now and I’ll be honest – I never saw myself wearing one. But I kept seeing them on others and thought they looked super chic, so I decided to give them a try. I was eyeing this leather style, but decided to buy a cheaper version first to test out. I am surprised by how much I love it and how versatile it is (easily fits a phone, keys & lipstick/compact. Plus, it’s an added bonus that it instantly defines your waist, regardless of what you’re wearing. Because this one doesn’t come in waist-specific sizes, I found the belt part to be quite long. So, in order to get a perfect fit, I ended up punching extra holes in it using this tool. I found more belt bags under $30 to try: here, here, here & here.
I actually bought this skirt specifically for my India trip, but it’s such a great price that I had to share it with you now while it’s on sale! It runs true to size (wearing a Small) and is fully lined – I just loved the neutral floral pattern & I think this will transition so well into the fall! For length reference, I’m 5’8″, so if you’re on the shorter side, you may need to wear this with wedges or heeled sandals (or have it hemmed). I paired it with these comfortable slide sandals, which are now under $30 – I already ordered them in another color because the fit is so great (no rubbing or pinching!).
What I’m wearing:
