Plaid has always been one of fall’s most prominent patterns…and, this year in particular, glen plaid is stealing the spotlight. I’m a big fan of this classic print because it’s a neutral & it’s a smaller scale plaid, which makes it more versatile. I just picked up this skirt last week & plan on wearing it straight into winter paired with chunky knits, tights & boots. If you’re looking for some glen plaid pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe, try these classic trousers, this tailored blazer, this cozy scarf or this pencil skirt.
I don’t know about you, but I tend to go through phases with the stores where I shop. Over the summer, I spent a lot of time browsing the racks at T.J.Maxx and I also ordered quite a few things from LOFT. But, lately, I’ve been finding so many great deals at JCPenney. This v-neck sweater is just one of several recent purchases – I love the choker detail, ruched shoulders & slightly flared sleeves. It also comes in the prettiest emerald green & looks just as chic worn with skinny jeans, pointed pumps & statement earrings (a great combo for girls night!).
Right now, JCPenney is having a huge sale where you can get 50% off your purchase when you spend $40 or 65% off when you spend $100 through October 19th using code 4YOUSAVE (some exclusions apply) + free shipping on all orders! Other items I’ve bought include these high-rise leggings (unbelievably soft & they stay put – I ordered a pair for both myself & my daughter), this gorgeous lace shift (even prettier in person – love the velvet tie accents!) & this bell sleeve sweater (will be sharing an outfit with this next week).
