The majority of my wardrobe is made up of mostly neutrals – they are just so easy & timeless and, if I’m being honest, they’re like a security blanket of sorts…but not in a negative way! I definitely feel the most “me” when I’m wearing them. Today I’m styling two looks in neutral tones that will take you from day to night and both of these outfits feature pieces from a new-to-me online boutique that I can’t wait to share with you about!
Social Threads is a site that I’ve seen popping up on lots of bloggers’ feeds lately so I was anxious to find out for myself what all the buzz was about. They have a great selection of well-curated pieces that are perfect for spring, summer & any upcoming vacations you have planned – plus, everything is affordably priced & they offer free shipping!
Because they are more like a boutique vs. a large retailer, they stock a smaller selection of sizes – but, don’t worry if your size is sold out because they restock often. Just click on the “email when available” button on the bottom right of the product page & you’ll be notified when it’s available again.
This slouchy pullover is the perfect lightweight knit – throw it on with jeans and comfy flats for spring and pair it with cut offs and flat sandals for summer. I have it knotted here, but when left untucked, it’s long enough to wear with leggings. Other tops I’m loving from their site: this off the shoulder top, this tie-front blouse & this embroidered top.
I have to quickly mention these jeans from Target – I ordered them online thinking they were white, but when they arrived, I found out that they were more of an off-white. At first, I wasn’t sure if I would keep them, but I loved the fit so much and I quickly discovered that this cream color looks amazing with all my spring neutrals. I kind of like that they aren’t such a stark white – I went down one size in these & they fit perfectly (good amount of stretch & so flattering!).

Universal Thread Jeans, Universal Thread Mules

Normally, when I think of knit dresses, I think of the short sleeve t-shirt style that’s super casual & weekend-ready. But I love that this one is made from the same type of comfy, stretchy fabric, but it has a dressier feel thanks to the ruffle detail & longer length. Of course, you could easily style this for daytime – I’d remove the belt & wear with flat sandals and a straw hat (perfect for throwing on over your swimsuit for the beach!). But I wanted to show you how I’d dress it up for date night with my favorite neutral heels & this fun straw bag. I found this to run true to size but if you want a looser fit, I’d size up.
