I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before (and you may have already taken notice), but I tend to dress more feminine in the spring & summer months than any other time of year. I’m all about embracing pretty pastels, pinks & figure-flattering silhouettes. Something about the warm weather just brings out my girly side!
I feel like I don’t hear a lot about JCPenney in the blogging community & I’m not sure why – every time I go into the store, I walk out with something fabulous + they regularly have generous online sales so you never have to pay full price. It’s one of those places where I honestly shop on a regular basis for my whole family so I love to share those hidden gems with you here.
So, if it’s fallen off your radar too, hopefully this post will encourage you to check out what they have to offer. Right now you can get an extra 20% off any purchase or get an extra 25% off when you spend $100 or more with code 19SHOP. They do have a pretty high minimum for free shipping, but if you don’t want to add more items to your order to get there, just select the ship to store option instead – it’s free!
They graciously sent me a gift card to shop for a few new pieces for summer and I instantly fell in love with this eyelet camisole. It would be perfect for a backyard BBQ or on the 4th of July paired with denim shorts and it’s only $10!! Even though it’s technically a “babydoll” cut, the shape doesn’t feel overly exaggerated. It’s also fully lined & the straps are adjustable in back. I found it to be true to size, but if you have a smaller bust, you’ll want to size down.
These white skinny jeans have a great fit & they’re not sheer at all – I love the high waist & button-front detail + they are made from recycled plastic bottles! How cool is that?! These fit true to size for me, but if you’re unsure or in between, I’d size down because they do stretch a bit with wear. If you’re like me and have a smaller waist with curvier hips, these are a dream because the waist is actually snug with no gaping (plus, they’re less than $20!).

You all know how much I love a good wrap dress – this is my favorite silhouette of all time because it flatters every shape (and it can grow or shrink with you!). This one is under $24 & it’s a true wrap style that you can tie in front, on the side or in the back, depending on your preference. It also comes in a neutral stripe, but I liked the candy-colored hues in this particular pattern. While I was shopping in store, I also picked up this midi dress in black (so well made for the price!) & this floral maxi dress (which is even prettier in person)
