I’m trying out a different type of post today where I’m sharing a few recent outfits that didn’t make it to the blog, along with some of my favorite trends for fall and affordable options to shop! It’s a somewhat random mix of things, but I figured it was a good way to highlight lots of different content all in one post.
DATE NIGHT
A simple & easy combination that’s perfect for date night or girls night out. Pair a pretty blouse with statement earrings; swipe on a bold lipstick & you’re set! I wore this with gray denim but you could also try regular skinny jeans, faux leather pants or an a-line skirt & heels.

BLOUSE + EARRING PAIRINGS
ONE: Red Blouse + Black Druzy Earrings
TWO: Navy Blouse + Gunmetal Earrings
THREE: Black Blouse + Gold Earrings
FOUR: Blush Blouse + Crystal Earrings
FIVE: Gray Blouse + Rose Gold Earrings
SIX: Rust Blouse + Stone Earrings
BOYFRIEND CARDIGAN
The cardigans that I tend to favor are slightly oversized and have an open-front – I find these to be a versatile wardrobe staple because you can dress them up or down. I’d also wear this with a plaid button-down, boyfriend jeans & ankle booties or over a striped tee with leggings & over-the-knee boots. Other styles under $50 to try: this chenille cardigan, this waffle knit cardigan, this burgundy cardigan or this intarsia cardigan.

PEARL EMBELLISHED
Pearls are making a huge comeback right now & I’m a big fan of this trend. Try it in small doses with some modern jewelry & studded shoes or go for a statement look with an embellished top. Either way, this is an easy way to add a sophisticated touch to your everyday style.

SHERPA-LINED
Nothing says cozy quite like a fluffy sherpa-lined layer – this type of piece is great for wearing around the house on those chilly days or throwing on instead of a coat for running errands around town. I plan on taking this one with us on our next camping trip! Other styles I’m loving right now are this plaid cardigan, this moto jacket & this vest.

QUILTED VEST
This is another one of my closet essentials – and it’s great for those of you who live somewhere that has a milder fall & winter (when you don’t need a bulky coat). Layer over a long sleeve top, chambray shirt or tissue turtleneck & you’ve instantly created a classic casual look that’s weekend-ready.

I’m totally crazy about anything embellished and oversized cardigans! You looked stunning for the date night with your girls. 🙂

I really love this post! Please do more mash-up posts in future!
Oh yay – I’m so glad you like it! I was hoping it wouldn’t feel too disjointed!
Hi Kimberly – love the post – I’m wondering what size you got the old navy cream sweater in the last picture for reference? How is the quality? Thanks!
I got an XS and it fit perfectly – it’s a super soft knit & pretty lightweight, which is great for layering. I’ve only worn it twice but I haven’t noticed any pilling or issues with the material.
What an elegant blouse!
The shade of blue in the cold shoulder top was made for you! You look amazing!
Beautiful, Kimberley…
I love all of these. I am a huge fan of the boyfriend cardigan right now. They are so easy to throw on and comfy.
xoxo
