All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
I’m not one for piling on lots of bold colors or graphic patterns, but I do love a good floral print in the warm weather months. Even though these are a bit of a departure from what I normally wear, something about these floral pants appealed to me. I think it’s the fact that they are a feminine pattern, but in a sleek tailored silhouette – it feels like the perfect balance + they’re so fresh & fun for spring!
These would also be cute with a striped top & white sneakers for a casual take on print mixing. But, if printed pants aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to embrace florals this season. Try this tank dress (I’d layer a denim jacket on top), this breezy blouse with white skinny jeans or this wrap skirt with a fitted tank & wedges.
I’m sharing this look today as part of a new campaign that Walmart just launched called We Dress America – it’s focused on highlighting their affordable styles & showcasing different parts of our country that are unique & special. This is such a fun opportunity for me because I’ll get to share with you the spots that I frequent and the things about my city that I love. If you’ve been following me for a while, some of these locations may look familiar (I’m nothing if not a creature of habit!).
The Erie Canal runs right through the village where we live in upstate NY and it is one of our absolute favorite places to frequent as a family. We spend so much time here in the spring & summer riding our bikes, walking the dog and stopping to grab an ice cream along the way. It’s such a beautiful & peaceful way to take in some fresh air, get a little exercise after dinner & watch the sun set.
You may recall last summer when I posted about Lord & Taylor items being available on Walmart.com – many of you have mentioned that you’ve taken advantage of their low prices & free 2-day shipping. Not only do they carry those premium brands we all know & love, but they have really stepped up their fashion game with their in-house brand, Time & Tru. I’ll be sharing more of my favorites over the next couple months, but suffice to say, I am very impressed & I know you will be too!
If you’re needing a new denim jacket for spring, this one is such a great buy – the denim has a nice stretch to it (not stiff at all!) and the fit isn’t overly boxy like so many I’ve tried. It also comes in a lighter wash & white denim, which would be perfect layered over this striped dress with these sandals. At under $20, it’s a steal (and the reviews speak for themselves). See more of my top picks from their site below!
