Industrial Garden

Do you ever feel that your personal style can’t be classified into one category?  This is certainly true for me – I tend to fluctuate between being drawn towards classic tailored styles and flowy, slightly bohemian pieces.  As John Fairchild (former publisher of Women’s Wear Daily) said: “Style is an expression of individualism mixed with charisma.”  In other words, what really matters is staying true to what works for you (& what you love) and not worrying about whether or not you fit into a specific mold.
What I’m wearing:
H&M tee, Allen B skirt (here), Forever 21 belt, BCBG sandals, Candies jacket (similar here or here), Dockers aviators, Bracelets: Banana Republic, Target & Forever 21

I love this outfit! Especially the hi-low skirt. Definitely one of my favorite trends this year although I havent found one yet.

I'm the same way on fluctuating my style. I really think it all comes down to my mood. Then there's all of the hypothetical things I would wear if I had somewhere to wear them to. Living in a small town, you wear a skirt and everyone asks "well, what are you so dressed up for?"

this looks so comfy, i love it. i think i'll try a high low skirt, but keep it above the calf or something. hmmmm. and your colors you have going on are perfect. this is a happy outfit, lol

I LOVE this! That skirt is beautiful and I love how you added the tough utilitarian jacket to balance the floral skirt, it's perfect!

I have multiple personalities with my style too. I dress the part and the mood! If I'm running errands – it's all about comfort, if I'm at work it's trendy but business casual. I wear anything from classic to trendy, preppy to chic. That's the fun to dressing up!
