Just the Classics

When I have those “I-have-nothing-to-wear” moments, I always fall back on timeless pieces like these because it’s the easiest way to look polished without having to even think about it.  For me, this usually involves stripes of some kind, a bright lip and gold accessories – it’s a formula that works every time and that I, amazingly, never get tired of.  What’s your favorite look that you keep going back to?

My favorite go-to look is a pencil skirt and silky shirt or blouse, completed with either peep-toe or pointy-toe pumps. It's always appropriate for the office I work in. By the way, I really like your outfit, but I'd have to wear something like it on the weekend.

Lately my go to has been an old navy cardigan and a button up shirt or tshirt with khaki pants for work. Keep going back to my preppy roots. I just switch out the khakis for jeans when I go for casual. Just add some bling so it's not so blah.

I totally know what you mean, sometimes in the mornings I stare at my closet for a good ten min. before I can think of anything to wear. When I'm stuck I usually go with some sort of skinny jean and over sized shirt. It always looks simple and chic plus I know I will be comfortable. I love you decision to go with the classics though, you would never guess you were in a wardrobe conundrum because you looks so put together!
