Fitting Room Try-On at Kohl’s
I went to Kohl’s recently to see if I could find a few good pieces. You guys! There were so. many. things. I. loved. I simply couldn’t afford to buy them all, so I’m sharing my Kohl’s fitting room try-on with you today.
My top two brands from this try-on:
– LC Lauren Conrad
– Sonoma
Does anyone remember LC from when she started out on MTV? I’ve been following her since then and I remember watching her on MTV as she attended fashion school and as she landed her first jobs in the fashion industry. She always had an amazing style and incredible work ethic. When she put her line out at Kohl’s several years ago, I was thrilled because I knew it would be amazing. To this day, her clothing line is one of my favorites. It is functional, affordable, and always trendy.
Now, I cannot say that I’ve been as big of a fan with Sonoma in the past. This all changed though with my recent trip to Kohl’s. I almost walked past the Sonoma racks, just because I never had luck with the brand, but they had the SOFTEST mom jeans, so I had to see how they fit. Ended up buying a pair and I’m in love!

Brands from the fitting room
Lauren Conrad
I have been a fan of LC by Lauren Conrad jeans for years. They are my second favorite jean (next to WHBM), which I think says a lot. The quality of LC’s jeans is very high so I haven’t had to buy a new pair for a couple years. I was so, so happy to find that her jeans this fall are just as good as always. LC is also killing it with her tops this season. This red moto jacket was so buttery soft and comfortable. It comes in 4 great fall colors and can be dressed up over a dress or down with jeans. It fits tts, I’m wearing small in the photo below.
Sonoma
My favorite surprise from this shopping trip, however, was the Sonoma brand jeans! Soft, flattering, comfortable, affordable, and trendy MOM JEANS. I’ve tried Sonoma before but wasn’t impressed, and honestly I almost walked past these jeans today. I AM SO GLAD I TRIED THESE ON!! The only downside is that I wish they would have had my size available at the store in other colors. These were obviously a popular jean for Kohl’s because there were very few options left on the rack. These run a bit big, so I decided to size down to a 2 and they fit perfect. Also, the mules I’m wearing are Sonoma. Available in 5 colors!! I felt like I was standing on clouds. I had to run around in these to grab a few extra things during this try on and these were beyond easy to walk in and so comfortable. Easy to slide on and off and the fabric is flexible, they would make perfect day-to-day shoes for busy moms and would be cute for a casual office look too.
Looking for fall dress inspo? It’s on my list for the next Kohl’s run! In the meantime, check out this post for some dresses I’m loving for fall and how to wear them for a fall wedding!
My next trip to Kohl’s
I spent so much time on LC stuff and Sonoma jeans, that I couldn’t get to other items. SAD! But, since this shopping trip went so well, I plan to go back and check out outwear, accessories, and beauty. If there’s a look you want me to find, let me know on Facebook or Instagram (@ppfgirl). Pin this page for future reference, too!
