After returning from my West Coast vacation (where the weather was fairly mild and cool), I had to quickly adjust to the sweltering heat & humidity that’s pretty typical for NY this time of year. I wore this lightweight lace dress yesterday and decided to show you the two ways I styled it – dressed up & down (although if you live in a climate like mine, a denim jacket might be too toasty during the day).

What I love about this dress is the layering with the lace and how it changed the colour of the piece. I saw a similar style but with a pink underlay – I normally stray away from pink but I thought it was very pretty. This is a lovely look 🙂
