I’ve always been drawn to classic tailored styles, particularly anything with military-inspired details. I’d been on the hunt for a coat like this for ages, but all of the versions I was finding were way out of my price range. If you don’t mind spending more, this melton wool coat is so gorgeous in person & one that I almost considered purchasing. Another affordable approach is to update a coat you already own by switching out the buttons for metal ones – there are dozens affordably priced on Amazon (examples here & here). My search finally ended when I came across this coat for less than $55 – it’s just the right weight for our current weather & the fit is absolutely perfect. I styled it with easy layers & a menswear-style shoe for a polished but comfortable weekend look.
