There is no more worn piece of clothing in my entire closet than my favorite striped tee. I love that this one has a block of white fabric around the neckline, which creates the perfect space for a short necklace. One of my favorite weekend looks is to wear this under a cargo vest with jeans & slip-on flats.
This isn’t the exact necklace I own, it’s a near-identical style to the vintage pendant I scored on eBay last year (seen here). Even though this is a bit pricey, I wear mine all the time and I love it because it goes with just about everything!
I can’t survive the spring & summer months without a classic straw tote. The fringe detail & sturdy handles on this one make it the perfect accent for all my seasonal looks + it’s roomy enough to hold my personal essentials + all of my kids’ gear.
If you’ve never purchased a pair of Sole Society shoes, you don’t know what you’re missing! My most worn pair is nearly four years old and I still get asked about them all the time (first seen here). Their shoes are so insanely comfortable & the price is pretty incredible for the quality. More of my current favorites from their site include these studded sandals & these fringe heels.
If there ever was a season for embracing fun & festive accessories, it’s now! I’ve been stocking up on colorful statement earrings and these fringe styles are great because unlike some of my other pairs, they are very lightweight and don’t bother my ears after wearing for several hours. Also love these & these!
Printed scarves are an essential layering piece this time of year and my most favorite is a tasseled one in a pretty print. I recommend looking for a style that you can wear over tees & tops, but also one that is large enough to double as a sarong/cover-up for the beach. More options to try here, here & here.
My white pleated skirt is probably one of the oldest pieces in my entire closet & I continue to wear it over and over again because it’s a timeless feminine style that always makes me feel elegant. I found several more options in white, pink, silver & black.
This was one of my favorite tops long before it was the popular trend it has become this year (proof here). What I like about this classic white style is that you can wear it with jeans, tucked into skirts or with your favorite shorts. More affordable options here, here & here.
I know they aren’t for everyone, but I love my denim skirt! I get so much wear out of it this time of year – it’s the perfect choice when it’s a little too warm for jeans, but you still want to dress casually. This looks great dressed up with heeled sandals or dressed down with comfy sneakers – if you prefer a more polished version, try this tencel skirt instead.
These comfortable strappy flats are my go-to sandals for wearing with more casual dresses, maxi skirts & shorts (see example here). I like how the metallic finish dresses up my outfit a bit and adds a subtle dose of polish.
A white lace top is one of my top closet essentials so I love the idea of an updated take on this classic style. The cold-shoulder silhouette & flowy shape of this one make it so flattering & versatile for day or night. Other lace tops I love: under $75, under $60 & under $45.
Now that school is almost over (I’m graduating this month!), I’m looking forward to downsizing from my leather backpack to something smaller & more wearable for every day. This bag is just the right size in a chic neutral color & I love the modern buckle detail. More affordable options here & here.
If I could, I would wear this skirt every single day – the cut is so flattering because it cinches in at the smallest part of my waist and accentuates my curves. This is such an easy way to incorporate stripes without being too bold & it’s cute when paired with a simple tank & neutral wedges.
I was so excited when I found this choker because I’ve been looking for a light-colored option for spring & summer. I’ve found that I tend to wear this length of necklace more often because it works with a crew, scoop or v-neck.
These sandals are my absolute favorite and I nearly wore them to death last year. The heel height is really comfortable for walking around in and the laser perforated cutouts help add a little interest to my looks.
I was quick to jump on the neck scarf trend, so I’m happy to see that this is a style that’s sticking around for another season. The pretty floral print of this bandana make it a fun accent for my basic tees & solid day dresses. Other scarves I love include this one & this one.
I love wearing statement earrings this time of year and these tasseled drops go with everything – they’re perfect for dressing up more casual outfits, but they work just as well for evening too! See more colorful styles here & here.
Nothing flatters my shape quite like a fit & flare dress. I love the blush hue and sophisticated simplicity of this midi-length style. It’s a chic favorite that will remain in my wardrobe for years to come.
I honestly don’t know how I ever got by without a pair of these seasonal sneakers. They are so comfortable and I love that the mini platform gives me a little extra height. I also like that they breathe really well so I don’t have to worry about wearing socks with them. Other styles to try here, here & here.
I’ve recently fallen in love with high-waisted denim & I don’t know that I’ll ever go back. These have just the right amount of stretch without losing their shape throughout the day and I like that they have just a little bit of distressing without being too ripped.
