Metallics were a huge trend seen on the Fall 2012 runways, so when I found this top on eBay last month for less than $15, I decided to give it a try (my only complaint is that it wrinkles quite easily, as evidenced by these photos).  My husband refers to this as my “disco fever” look…obviously he wasn’t a fan.  But when styled in a simple way, I believe gilded pieces can look very chic.  Another example of metallics done right is this look on Kate Bosworth, which I love and happens to be perfect for summer.  I also think this blouse will transition well into fall too – peeking out from under a sweater & paired with camel trousers or a leather pencil skirt.

    Love the top….the wrinkles edge it up a bit….consider giving the sleeves one extra roll so,the sleeves end closer to your waist emphasizing your slimness.

    This is a great blouse and even better because it was only $15. Great find! I love it with the white pants but I agree will be fabulous transitioning into fall, too!

    Oh my goodness you are genius. I have a metallic shirt that I have worn with soft pastel pink shorts and I have been wondering what else to wear with it. I kept holding it up against my white blazer but then clueless about what to wear on the bottom. I really like it with white too. Why didn't I think of my white pants that were only 3 feet away! Geez! Thanks for this!

    I love this blouse and love how you put it together. I think your hubby kinda nailed it with the 'disco fever' reference but it's done so modern and sophisticated! I love it. I LOVE that clutch!
