Today I’m excited to be participating in the RetailMeNot Fall Fashion Challenge, along with some other fabulous bloggers! We were each gifted $150 to spend and were asked to purchase pieces (based on the fall trend assigned to us) & mix them with items we already owned to create 3 looks for work, weekend & evening. I couldn’t have been more excited that my trend was leather and I headed straight to RetailMeNot to see what deals I could score using coupon codes from their site.
For the work look, I chose a classic black blazer with just a hint of leather – unless you work in a very creative office environment, it can be hard to pull off leather in the workplace. This blazer is tailored but with just enough interest (love the cobalt pop under the collar!) to feel modern & slightly edgy. For weekend, I went with easy casual pieces – a moto jacket is a must have piece for the season and this one actually feels like buttery soft real leather, but cost so much less! For evening, I went with sophisticated pieces & dressed up this sleek pencil skirt with a textured top & sequin jacket.
