One of my favorite ways to get the most wear out of my short-sleeve tops during the winter months is to layer a turtleneck underneath (see previous looks here and here). This typically works best with shells that have a bit more structure to them (think sequin, leather, jacquard or tweed) and it’s a great way to carry those pieces into the colder weather without freezing. For those of you who live in warmer climates, try a thin button-down shirt underneath instead (examples at the bottom of this post).
