Spotted in Leather

Sometimes when I’m putting an outfit together, I like to start with the shoes.  Case in point, when these twinkling cap-toed beauties arrived, I knew I wanted to build an outfit around them.  So I started from the bottom up and decided to juxtapose the dressed-up feel of the pumps with my favorite skinny jeans.  And since I loved the design of these shoes so much, I repeated the texture of the sparkling stones + smooth leather by topping it off with a spotted blouse & (faux) peplum top.  It worked so well, I’m starting to think maybe I should begin all my outfit planning this way…

What I’m wearing:

H&M blouse (similar here or here), Tinley Road top (on sale here), c/o Old Navy jeans (in Authentic wash; on sale here), c/o Nina Shoes pumps (on sale here), Merona satchel (here), Michael Kors watch (similar), c/o Stella & Dot bracelet (here), c/o JewelIQ earrings (similar), Forever 21 ring (similar), Simply Vera Vera Wang aviators (similar), Lips: Maybelline ColorSensational Coral Crush

I think the length of this blouse is perfect as well as the volume in the sleeves. I tried a blouse on under my peplum a while back and looked like Zorro. This is perfect though! Love the spotted blouse with this top!

How do you get your Rock Star jeans to not look like jeggings? If I go up a size they bug sags but the calves are still crazy tight, if I get the size that fits my hips and butt the legs look like sausage casings!! I keep hearing great things about them and have a pair that I never wear because they are scandalous!!!

Love the peplum layered like this. I debated the leather peplum a few weeks ago and ultimately passed (Florida is so rough for wearing it) but adore it layered.
PS: those jeans are my favorite of yours. PERFECT fit.
