When bell sleeves became a big trend for the year, I was one of the first to jump on board. But, I quickly learned that the longer & more dramatic the sleeve, the less practical it was for everyday (and I have the dry cleaning bill to prove it!). So, finding options with a short or 3/4-length sleeve made much more sense for my lifestyle.
This top is made of a satin-like fabric that gives it such a luxe look & feel and the vertical stripes make it ultra-flattering. I plan on styling this for weekend with white jeans & slide sandals. There are also a pair of fluid pants in the same stripe (would be so chic paired with a white t-shirt & flat sandals).
Other bell-sleeve styles I love are this chambray top, this lightweight sweater (great transition piece!) & this poplin blouse. But, if you’re not a fan of bell sleeves at all, this cold-shoulder style is very similar to the top I’m wearing here & a great alternative if you live in a warmer climate & can’t wear long sleeves this time of year.
What I’m wearing:
LOFT Bell Sleeve Top, Madewell Shorts (more options here, here or here),
BP Lula Sandals, White House Black Market Bag (similar here or here),
BaubleBar Earrings (similar) & Cuff (similar), ASOS Sunglasses
