My kids are both extremely picky when it comes to knitwear because they find so many styles to be too itchy. I also don’t want to spend a lot on their clothes because they outgrow them so quickly! We have found Gap Factory to be one of the best places to shop for the whole family. My son in particular will only wear Gap jeans because he is so tall and their denim has a slimmer cut that works well for his long legs. This cable-knit color-blocked sweater brings out his boyish charm & I love that it looks so high-end in person. I went up a size so if he goes through a growth spurt, he’ll still be able to wear it this winter and so he can layer a denim shirt or t-shirt underneath for the colder weather.
My daughter is also very tall and has now completely outgrown girl’s clothing, which has proved to be a serious challenge as most junior’s styles are not modest or appropriate for her age. Thankfully, we’ve discovered that she can wear the smallest women’s size and it works well for her without being too short or fitted. As she nears her teenage years, she has become more & more opinionated about clothing, which means she wants pieces that are trendy and stylish. She loved the graphic pattern of this plaid sweater and thought it would be fun to add a touch of faux fur to give it a dose of glam.
For myself, I like to stick to classic styles for the holidays & I’ve been on the hunt for a new cable-knit sweater this season. This one has just the right weight to it & is so cozy & comfortable. It comes in 6 gorgeous colors, but I was drawn to this rich burgundy hue. I purposely went up a size so I could layer turtlenecks, tees & shirts underneath it. All of our sweaters are currently on sale (plus an extra 15% off w/ code GFSAVE), so whether you’re putting together outfits for a holiday photo session or just looking to stock up for the cold weather, you can get what you need for everyone in the family for less. Even better, if you sign up for Gap Factory emails, you can get an additional 15% off your purchase!
Tomorrow we’re packing up our car & driving to Maine – we cannot wait to enjoy a relaxing week with our friends and to make memories together. I’ll have new posts going up Monday & Tuesday, but will be taking Wednesday – Friday off to celebrate the holiday. However, I will be posting a comprehensive list of all the Black Friday sales so be sure to check back for details! You can follow along with our Maine adventures & get a peek at our vacation fun over on Snapchat (ppfgirl).
Thank you to Gap Factory for kindly sponsoring this post.
All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
Oh my gosh, your daughter is totally a mini you! Love these outfits, too 🙂
