I browsed through the apparel section first and picked up this Tencel chambray shirt (a spring staple) and this jacquard patterned skirt. Both were pieces I knew I could wear with other items I already owned and they were each less than $25! From there, I moved onto the shoe department and I was so happy to find a comfortable pair of espadrille wedges that weren’t too high – I could walk for miles in these! The nude leather makes them so versatile and I like that they zip up the back so I don’t have to fuss with the buckles every time I put them on.
My last stop was the handbag & luggage section, where I picked up a Kate Spade crossbody bag, which I was fully intending on purchasing…until I spotted an entire set of DVF Luggage in this chic design (all sizes were under $100!). As much as I loved the designer handbag, I realized that the more practical purchase was a new suitcase, because mine nearly fell apart the last time I traveled. Though I was tempted to buy all three pieces, I knew I only really needed a medium-sized option for short trips into the city and some upcoming family vacations.
