Ultra-Violet

One of the hottest colors for spring (according to Pantone’s list here) is African Violet.  I previously didn’t own a lot of purple in my closet, but have been warming up to it slowly (if these lilac pieces are any indication).  So when I came across these skinnies, I couldn’t resist the bright hue + the unbelievably soft finish (literally feel like sweatpants).  And they just happened to go perfectly with my new favorite spring button-down & this gorgeous statement necklace for what I refer to as a “dressed-up tomboy” look.

    Yay for the eyelet and that gorgeous, gorgeous necklace. Oh, and the hat; it's so fun for spring. SUch a gorgeous outfit. I have a pair of similar gap skinnies… might need to recreate, twinsie. 🙂

    I am loving that hat. You have a great classic all-American style. Your makeup always looks beautiful too, very simply/natural and gorgeous. What do you use for makeup? I use tinted moisturizer but I am thinking maybe I need to start using foundation…just seems like so much work!

    I've had that shirt in my ON cart for weeks! I can't decide on the white or the coral color. Is that your normal size? I like how it fits, I'm trying to decide if I want to do my regular size or one size up.
